Welcome to our new Design Team!
I am 2 Cute Ink's Design Team Coordinator. I have been designing for 2 Cute Ink since July 2011.
This winter I convinced Heidi to start a Challenge Blog. We have been working hard together to make this little place in blog world a fun place to visit and participate.
I want to thank our very first Design Team very much for all their wonderful work. And, want to wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
You can see more of my work on my personal blog at: http://inkingofyoutoo.blogspot.com and

Sarah Taylor - Returning Design Team Member -
Hello crafting friends. My name is Sarah Taylor and I am from Iowa. I have been crafting for years and the addiction has not lessed for me. I still can't stop myself from purchasing a new embellishment or wonderful sheet of paper. My crafting style is bright and bold. I love color. The name of my Blog is Aunt Bee's Pickles. It is named after my favorite TV show. Yep, the Andy Griffith show. When my boys were younger the joke around our house was that I was going to be Aunt Bee when I grew up. Then one day the show came on about Aunt Bee's homemade pickles. Do you remember the show? The pickles tasted like gasoline. Well, I canned a lot of food every year and pickles where something I made. My boys hated it because of the smell. Nothing quite like boiling vinegar and pickle spices. If you are a canner you know exactly the smell I am talking about. From the moment my boys saw the show about the pickles they teased me saying are these "Aunt Bee's Pickles" when the pickles came out of the fridge. It was a wonderful memory of years of teasing that went on in my kitchen. When I was thinking of a name for my blog I knew what it had to be. Something that brought me so much joy, a TV show, canning, my boys teasing me. It all still brings a smile to my face even now.

Monica Poo -
I’m Monica and I live in Italy with my hubby and our daughter. I graduated in English Literature with the idea to become a teacher. But life has its plans and I started working in the Sales Dept. of a big Company before becoming a stay-at-home mum when my daughter was born.
I started painting signs and plaques but when I discovered stamps, I turned to card making and never looked back. I now can satisfy my love for coloring without the mess of water and paint!
I prefer whimsical and sweet images for my cards and 2 Cute Ink digis are perfect for me!
I’m so thrilled to start working with these lovely images!

I have been married for 22 years to Jim; we have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. We live in a very small community – 700 people; count our dogs and we’re up to 702! We stay very busy with sports – cross-country, basketball, football, volleyball – you name it, our kids are in it. Our oldest departs for college in less than a month! *GASP*
I had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom for 2 years, many years ago, and my neighbor got me started in scrap-booking. It was fun, but when I discovered the immediate gratification of stamping a card; well, I was hooked; haven’t looked back since…um, haven’t touched those scrapbooks either! But I have ventured into pocket scrap-booking recently.
I would say my stamping style tends to be whimsical, fun and girly!

Kerry -
Hi I’m Kerry. I live in the UK with my 3 beautiful children who keep me on my toes. I've been arty and crafted for as long as I can remember. My Mom taught me how to knit, sew and crochet as a child and that somehow followed through into my teens when I went to art college for 5 years. I'd been making cards for about 8 years but had a gap due to family commitments and started up again about 9 months ago. I got my first set of markers for Christmas and I'm in heaven, I LOVE to color. I also love to make jewelry and other bits and pieces. I’ll craft anything that stands still too long.

Marilyn Scheller -
My name is Marilyn and I live with my hubs on a farm in Saskatchewan Canada. I work full time but enjoy spending any spare time crafting and getting ink, sparkles and glue all over my hands and creating paper projects. I have been stamping and creating cards since the fall of 2009, dabbling a bit until I was given a set of Copics as a Christmas gift and that is the point where my addiction to paper crafting truly began. The journey started out slowly but the markers were the launching point for the obsession I have whereby I want it all and I want it now! I make no apologies or excuses for this compulsion and what some people might call ‘hoarding’... it is what it is and I enjoy it thoroughly.

ReplyDeleteHi, I hope it's ok to use a bird for this animal challenge, please delete if it isn't.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think maybe my emails are not getting through to Heidi? My initial email did, as she replied. But my email with my prize choices doesn't seem to have got through, even after re-sending.
I'm in no rush for a reply if she is busy, but I wanted to get my choices in before the 2 week deadline passes xx
